Over the next couple days we are going to look at the reasons why you should reset your food intake, and "detox" your system . A toxic cocktail of chemicals and pollutants that accumulate in your body over a lifetime, and in time, can take a serious toll on your health. So detoxing makes sense.

2. ACHING Legs. Aching legs and lower back is apparently a symptom heroin addicts go through when going cold turkey! I am sure our experience wouldn’t be in the same league, but it can really uncomfortable and unexpected. Wondering why legs ache during a detox? It’s because as the body scours for toxins and dead or damaged tissue to eradicate, the nerves in the body become irritated. As a result the muscles become tight and sore. Whilst the aching is uncomfortable, it’s a sign the body is completing the healing process. So this is a good sign! If you are a sugar and sweets kinda person, this may be worse for you. Help fight through this by being active. Moving the legs will help flush the blood back into the circulatory system so it can be eliminated from the body.
